The black ink was shining on the ivory paper in her hand. Almost there, but she was still passing through the script on the way. She glanced at the people enjoying the view on top of the Nymphaeum’s ruin (A). Just the best view towards the park and the city, she wondered. How great that there’s a small pop-up exhibition in the ruin, fits right in! Walking on, she gets an espresso from the café hidden beneath the shades (B). While sipping the best coffee nearby, she stops for a moment and looks at the scenery: the pavilion is in excellent position looking at the ruin and the theatre (fig.02). A wavy picturesque path leads up to the building (C). She will try not to pour the coffee again on the stairs… once she had a huge coffee stain on her dress, but no one noticed during the performance – the backdrop and the atmosphere was so much more spectacular (fig. 03). Since the ruin and the park was renovated, this place has risen to host the best pieces of contemporary performances, she thinks. A slow bump woke her from daydreaming: she didn’t read a single line in 20 minutes! Nevermind, she tought: I hope my favourite chair is free in loggia, I have time to read in the playful shadows of the afternoon sun (fig.01).
